SCEIC had well over 600 volunteers last year. Our volunteers have the opportunity to participate in many aspects of the school's operation from administrative to classroom assistance and special events work. Our school attracts volunteers from many venues: parents, teachers, nurses, potential providers, and future educators.

Our volunteers derive benefit from their donated time in many ways.

• Students fulfill required hours for degrees.
• Teachers and future educators gain experience in their chosen profession.
• Parents, nurses and potential providers discover new options for helping children with special needs.
• Everyone obtains a working knowledge of how a successful non-profit organization operates.
• Everyone can witness their efforts making a difference. to the kids, the parents and the community.
• Everyone feels they are a valued part of our organization, they have the opportunity to contribute and they feel great about it.
