Oh Yes, They Did! DRS Tactical Systems Wins Corporate Challenge 2009!
DRS Tactical Systems took first place at Space Coast Early Intervention Center’s 6th Annual Corporate Challenge. Beating out fourteen teams from companies around Brevard, they competed in “Survivor –like” physical and mental challenges such as the Rock Wall, Insane Relay, Wii Tennis, Field Goal Kick, Trivia Challenge and much, much more. The morning started off with a breakfast provided by Jason’s Deli and ended with an awards luncheon provided by Olive Garden. The 2nd place trophy went to Rockwell Collins and Hoyman Dobson took 3rd place.
The fun-filled event was held at Florida Air Academy in Melbourne and made possible thanks to the hard work of the FAA Staff, Corporate Challenge Committee and our dedicated volunteers. A HUGE thank you to Publix Super Markets Charities, the Award’s Reception Sponsor, and the rest of our amazing sponsors and supporters listed below.
“The teams were very enthusiastic, each team gave their all and wanted to win,” said Grady Marshall who chaired the committee. Other committee members were: Beth Glover, Brenda & Brian Mahoney, Shannon Quinn, Dana Cooper, Gina Yates, Ashley Gardner and Rob & Shelley Johnson.
