Remember SCEIC in Your Will
For many people, the easiest way to make a gift to SCEIC is in the form of a bequest. A bequest gift, which is designated in a will or other estate planning document, is often the largest donation and individual can make to help ensure a future for students of SCEIC.
After caring your for family obligations, you can make your legacy gift by donating a specific asset, an amount, or a percentage of the remainder of your estate.
Below is examples of sample language that can be used in preparing your Bequest.
- Specific Bequest: I give, devise and bequeath _______________ (insert dollar amount or item of property to be donated) to Space Coast Early Intervention Center Inc., a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization located at 3790 Dairy Rd, Melbourne, FL to be used to support the programs and services offered at the Center.
- Residuary Bequest: I give, devise and bequeath _______________ (insert % amount) of all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to Space Coast Early Intervention Center Inc., a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization located at 3790 Dairy Rd, Melbourne, FL to be used to support the programs and services offered at the Center.
