Space Coast Early Intervention Center (SCEIC) has named Leslie Roth their new Executive Director. Lunch and Book signing!
SCEIC is going to launch their Guild on Tuesday, January 19th. Meet Annette Clifford, Florida Today columnist and author, who will be on hand to autograph and talk about her humorous book regarding parenting. The book is titled World’s Toughest Job. This event is free, books will be available for purchase and Annette is donating a percent of the proceeds to SCEIC.

Space Coast Early Intervention Center Graduate gets Major Role in Big Screen Movie
Nine year old Zack Robbins, a former Space Coast Early Intervention Center (SCEIC) student, has secured a major role in the upcoming movie, titled The Trial. Zach, who was a typical "role model" student, graduated from SCEIC in 2005. Zach currently is an A - honor roll student at Tropical Elementary School. His younger sister, Sarah graduated from SCEIC in 2007. and his 2 younger brothers, Jeremy and Charlie still attend the school.

Zach is playing the part of Hunter Wilkes, the son of the female attorney character from the movie/book The Trial by Robert Whitlow. His costar is Matthew Modine and his mother is played by Claire Carey. Gary Wheeler, an award winning North Carolina based film producer, is producing the movie. Zach is the only child in the entire movie and will be in about 5 scenes total. Filming of The Trial began two weeks ago. The movie is expected to be released next fall 2010.

SCEIC receives the 2008 Alfred P. Sloan Award.
SCEIC was one of nine Brevard County business recognized for providing a flexible workplace. The award was presented at the recent Melbourne Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce Gala Dr Sally Shinn said that SCEIC’s motto is : Together we will figure it out.
